Are you in need of a generous dose of salty air, crashing waves and coastal views? Then you need an afternoon at Herring Cove Provincial Park Reserve. It’s a treat for all of your senses. You’ll spend the 1-hour trek (approx. 30 minutes each way) meandering along the rocky coastline. This has been one of our favourite HRM hikes to date.

How to Get There

From the Armdale Rotary, take the exit onto Herring Cove Road.  Drive for 450m before turning left onto Purcell’s Cove Road. Continue on Purcell’s Cove Road for 10.2 km. The parking lot will be on your left.
