The Shubenacadie Trail starts right around where Lake William feeds into the Shubenacadie Canal. Heading southward for about 6 km will take you into the amazing Shubie Park. But the Shubenacadie Trail is a beautiful destination in its own right.

How to Get There

The main parking lot is actually in the middle of the trail, about 1.5 km south of the very beginning. Following the Waverley Road, continue until you’ve just passed underneath the Forest Hills Extension, and the parking lot will be on your left. To see it on the map, click here.
