Armdale / Herring Cove / Purcell’s Cove
I get excited just thinking about all of the gems in this area that I have already discovered, or have yet to explore. Armdale/Herring Cove/Purcell’s Cove is a huge area full of rugged landscapes, historic sites, and awesome dogventures just waiting to happen.
Bedford
We are excited to be slowly exploring more and more of this great area. So far, our definite favourite has been Blue Mountain Birch Cove Lakes. What’s your favourite Bedford haunt?
Cole Harbour & Lawrencetown
When it comes to beautiful landscapes and peaceful get-a-ways, Cole Harbour & Lawrencetown take the cake. Most of my favourite dogventures to date have happened here.
Dartmouth
Dartmouth – the City of Lakes! This can only mean good things for dogs who love to swim. There are indeed an abundance of swim-friendly places to explore with your dog in Dartmouth. In addition to iconic Shubie Park, there are lots of lesser known options to mix things up.
Eastern Passage
Eastern Passage is so underrated. There are some truly beautiful spots, and it’s not that far from the City, I promise.
Halifax Peninsula
Halifax Peninsula offers a few solid and very handy options for spending time with your best friend.
