Conrose Park

Conrose Park is a smaller urban park adjacent to the St. Mary’s Boat Club.  It’s nestled in between Jubilee Road and Coburg Road, and as it it turns out, it’s the perfect spot for a wintertime playdate. That’s because Conrose Park is on the list of HRM sports fields that turn into off-leash play spaces for the winter months.  If you’re looking for a place on the Halifax Peninsula to play fetch, and it’s in between November 1 and May 1, check out this great option. Tip: It looks like the tennis court is also off-leash friendly during the winter months if you’re in need of a fenced-in place to play.

You can read more about Conrose Park in the blog post.  And you can read more about HRM’s winter off-leash sports fields program here.

How to Get There

To find Conrose Park, drive southwest on Jubilee Road.  The parking lot will be on your left, where Connaught Ave intersects with Jubilee. You can also check out this map.
