Dartmouth Harbourwalk

The Dartmouth Harbourwalk is a trail that spans the Dartmouth waterfront from the Alderney Ferry Terminal to the Woodside Ferry Terminal. It is paved, well marked and only lightly used. Plus, it offers a darn good view of the City. It’s three kilometers in length, so it’s a great distance for a jog with your best pal.

I would recommend combining your weekend jog with a visit the Dartmouth Farmers’ Market at Alderney Landing (open Saturday and Sunday). This small but mighty market offers all the best locally crafted, grown and prepared goods.

How to Get There

You can access the Dartmouth Harbourwalk from a lot of different spots, but to get the full experience, start at either end of the trail.

Alderney Entrance

Coming soon.

Woodside Entrance

The trail begins just outside the front doors of the Woodside Ferry Terminal. On the weekend, you can park in the Terminal parking lot. During the week, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a spot in the lot as it tends to fill up by 8am each day. Plus, the spots are designated for ferry-goers.
